So, January is almost over!
I had the pleasure of working through midwinter on a collaborative community project in Talbot Woods, near to where I live.
Working with the incredible Talbot Village Trust, and Common Roots CIC to deliver In-between the Years, In-Between the Trees.

I coordinated and facilitated the event, which was an aspect of the Writer in the World module of my MA programme at AUB.
I absolutely loved it. Especially the collaborative aspect, and the attempt to tune in to a time when we might (if we’re lucky) have time for creativity. Although I was exhausted after Christmas and New Year.
Aside from handing in an assignment on that module, over the recent period I have also contributed a piece to BWY’s Spectrum magazine (hopefully for print in the spring), and facilitated workshops and mentored young writers with the fabulous charity The Story Works.
Thinking ahead, and as the days get longer and lighter, I will be turning my attention to a number of things, not least my Final Major Project, which I will write about soon.
