This month, I was fortunate to add four new reads to my review list, courtesy of my gifters at Summersdale Publishing.

They have many desirable titles.

Book that offer insight for the journey of wellness, as well as some fun.

This month, I got to look at:

Quin Clark’s 365 Days of Healing: Daily Guidance for Finding Inner Peace, a beautiful book that would make the ideal present for somebody on a healing path. It is packed with daily, digestible tips, relevant to the month/season and promises to be a companion for priortising one’s health - something that isn't necessarily as easy as it may sound.

It’s Okay Not To Be Okay: Good Advice and Kind Words for Positive Mental Wellbeing by Claire Chamberlain, again another gift book, this time I think suitable for someone in the throes of upheaval. Somebody who appreciates a frank and honest approach that acknowledges reality! (Something I am a fan of).

Similarly, Sam Cooper’s How to Cope When Everything Has Gone to Shit is a perfect, non-preachy read for anybody having a hard time. Which, let’s face it, is a lot of people right now.

Gift-reads such as these - any of these - may be just enough to bring a precious smile (and a sigh of relief!)

Lastly, The Wellbeing Activity Book: Soothing Puzzles to You Feel Restored by Anna Barnes encourages mindfully slowing down for pen-based play, and this is one I fancy keeping for myself, as a reminder to have a moment of fun, something we all need every now and then, at least.
